An entire choreography.
Our own garage brings vehicle detection, the door, the parking gate, lights, and security into a coordinated sequence. Custom ESP32 control handles the local logic; Home Assistant connects the wider flow.
A coordinated arrival+
An arrival routine links the parking gate and garage door. An occupancy sensor and red/green indicators show whether the opposite parking space is occupied.
Departure with context+
Each parking spot is tracked separately. A qualified departure waits for the obstacle sensor to clear, starts closing, and sends a gate-opening event. The alarm arms after the door is confirmed closed.
More than open and close+
Obstacle-triggered reopening, manual buttons, keypad access, lighting, UPS monitoring, and outage notifications are part of the design. The existing controller and HA routines can be extended as needs change.
